What is Calendula Oil?

🌼Calendula oil is processed from the petals of POT marigold (different than our “regular” garden variety) plants that we harvested and dried from our farm last year!

🌼Calendula flower has been used for cosmetic, culinary and medicinal purposes for centuries.

🌼Calendula oil is commonly used in skincare products for its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

🌼Calendula petals contain five compounds: Oleanolic acid, lupeol, quercetin, alpha amyrin, and beta amyrin. These compounds are known to provide antioxidant protection, and at the same time, soothe your skin and reduce discomfort.

🌼These flowers are not just for skincare! They can be brewed into tea or used as an herb in foods also!

From the farm!

🌼We infuse calendula, by hand, into our organic olive, avocado, and jojoba oils ourselves. This process takes at least six weeks of infusion time, but like usual, is totally worth the time and intentionality it takes, because it ensures a more sustainable and sourced product from our farm, to your home!
